Divine Ikubor who is also known as Rema is a Nigerian singer and rapper who became very popularly in 2019. Rema has worked with many top acts in the industry and he is currently signed into Jonzing records which is a subsidiary of Donjazzy’s record label which is known as Mavins.

Rema was born in Benin City which is the capital of Edo State, Nigeria. He started singing and rapping at a very tender age and he completed his primary and secondary school education both in Edo State, Nigeria.
In 2013, Rema (“Rhema” as it was spelt as at that time) formed a group called RnA with another talented rapper and singer professionally known as Alpha P and they made a couple of songs together.
The name RnA was coined from the first letters of their stage names. The group won the season 2 of Pikolo’s Dream Alive talent show and they also signed a record deal with Peak Entertainment shortly afterwards and released their debut single “Mercy”.
Shortly after he formed the group RnA with Alpha P, Rema got picked up by DPrince and he was signed into Jonzing records which is a subsidiary of Mavins Records.
Rema has since released a couple of hit songs and he has proven to be one of the Nigerian musicians to reckon with this year. Some of Rema’s songs include Dumebi, Iron Man, Bad Commando, Lady, Corny and many others.
Rema has also been nominated for a couple of music and other entertainment awards and he won the NEXT RATED Award On 19 October 2019 at the 13th edition of the annual Headies Awards conducted in Lagos, Nigeria.
